Al-huda Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Services is a non- governmental organization established on the 10th January, 2013.
FOUNDERS:
Al-huda Foundation was founded by a group of scholars and philanthropists with vast experience in charity and humanitarian services in order to contribute in national development and improve on the standard of living of the poor communities of our nation.
VISION: To be a first class provider of correct Islamic education, a champion in charity works and developmental programs.
MISSION STATEMENT: dedicated to the provision of correct Islamic education based on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the traditions of the Holy Prophet, and contributing to national development through the implementation of projects, charity programs with the cooperation of national and international partner organizations for the service of Muslims and humanity at large.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To foster unity amongst the members of the Foundation and to maintain peace, tolerance, understanding and cooperation with Muslims and non Muslims in Sierra Leone and the world at large.
- It is expressly non-political, non-tribal, non regional and promotes friendly relationship amongst the members of the Foundation, Muslims and non Muslims in Sierra Leone and the world in general.
- To know and promote the beautiful treasure of our religion, the heritage of Islamic culture, and to maintain the respect and dignity of Islam, Muslims and humanity at large.
- To embark on developmental programs that will contribute to national development and poverty alleviation.
- To establish and maintain: educational institutions in all fields of study, health and sanitation facilities which will contribute to human resource development and the advance of humanity in general.
